埃里克·霍弗美國(guó)哲學(xué)家

埃里克·霍弗（Eric Hoffer，1902—1983）的一生十分傳奇，父母早逝，靠自學(xué)成就學(xué)問(wèn)。長(zhǎng)年從事碼頭搬運(yùn)工作，1964年成為加州伯克利大學(xué)高級(jí)研究員后，仍未離開(kāi)碼頭，其許多觀念都是在碼頭工作中形成，因此他也被稱(chēng)為“碼頭工人哲學(xué)家”。
